Our communities have come to the party and provided fantastic online learning material to keep our kids on track during the COVID-19 Lockdown but unfortunately, that solution does not serve every South African child.

The gap that exists is huge for the millions of learners who may not have access to a device or data to access the material that is available online. It is this large number of learners who fall into this category, that we are trying to help.

These children from low-income spaces receive both materials and food from their schooling environments and, with those closed, we endeavour to do our part to fill the gap. We believe that a good foundation is critical and that is why our campaign is aimed at learners from Grade R to Grade 3. These will be the last to return to school and so we feel they most need our support.
