Butters, like oils, are made from seeds or fruits of plants.

Butters contain fatty acids that make them solid at room temperature, which make them somewhat difficult to work with. To soften them, try melting them and your favourite oil to make them easy to work with. 

Some of the benefits of using butters are:

Their ability to soothe skin

Improving collagen production

High in proteins, vitamins and fats

Rich in vitamins and antioxidants

Eco friendly

With temperatures dropping, adding butters during cold weather can help with dry skin.
